Bill "aka dad" adopted me as Sarah's sister during a very challenging time in my life and took me in as one of his own, as did the rest of the family did. I will be forever grateful. I will never forget the late night talks out on the porch, the mother's day you surprised me with a plant, you teaching me what to put in my hair to make it shiny like yours. I will always be greatful to know you and be a part of your family. I will miss you ❤️

I lost touch with Bill after I moved, but I remember him fondly. He was always kind and was never afraid to be his 100 percent authentic self. My deepest condolences to his family and friends. He was truly one of a kind.
